🌟 Class News Update 🌟

Our children have settled beautifully into the new school year. They have made new friends and worked together to co-develop our Class Charter, based on their rights to be healthy, safe, heard, and to be themselves. This is helping us create a purposeful and positive learning environment.

This term, our context is Celebrating Differences. We are exploring how our class is wonderfully diverse, making our learning experiences rich and exciting. The children have really enjoyed stories such as The Smeds and the Smoos and The Invisible, discussing how the characters solve problems by celebrating differences in kind and creative ways.

Our All About Me display looks fantastic, and the children are using their dojo lolly sticks with the Zones of Regulationto express their feelings. This is helping them develop emotional literacy and practise strategies to regulate their emotions with support.

We have an exciting autumn term ahead! Please keep an eye out for the red words and green words list, which will be sent home for your child to practise at their own pace. Your support with Big Maths at home will also help strengthen their numeracy skills.
