Welcome to Grassroots
Grassroots Provision – Year 5 & 6
Ms Goode and Miss Mills lead the Year 5 and 6 Grassroots provision, a supportive and inclusive environment designed to meet the individual needs of children requiring additional help in literacy and numeracy. Using Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and specialist reports, they create personalised lessons tailored to each child’s specific learning profile. A wide range of multi-sensory techniques is employed to support and embed key skills effectively. Grassroots is also a safe and caring space where children can build their confidence, feel supported, and grow emotionally and socially.
This year has been a tremendous success. We are incredibly proud of the progress each child has made -not just academically, but also in their confidence, behaviour, and social development.
